She was in serious condition Friday night. </p> <p>Ms. Vangilder's children, Paul Vangilder, 11, Sarah Vangilder, 6, and Emily Vangilder, 4, were treated and released from St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. Sarah Vangilder was transferred to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati and released. </p> <p> Boone County, Ky. police said Steven Grubbs, 37, of Verona, Ky., was driving a pickup truck pulling a 12-foot flatbed <b>trailer</b> in the northbound left lane on the highway when the <b>trailer</b> detached. </p> <p> The <b>trailer</b> veered west over the median, striking a car driven by Milton Rose, 40, of Crittenden, Ky., before hitting Ms. Vangilder's car. Ms. Vangilder's car flipped once. The <b>trailer</b> next struck a car driven by Ronda Morris, 44, of Miamisburg, Ohio. Her car was rear-ended by Brad Lakhia, 24, of Union, Ohio. </p> <p> Boone County Police Lt. Jack Banks said no charges have been filed.
